Hearing the Patient’s Voice

April 16, 2021 – Hanover, ON – At Hanover & District Hospital, our mission is to Provide Exceptional Care. To support that journey, understanding the experience of our patients is critical.

Hearing the patient’s voice just got easier! HDH’s patient surveys are now available electronically for easy access on our website. QR Codes are available in patient care areas throughout the hospital; all a patient needs to do is scan the code with their smart phone and they will be immediately taken to the survey relevant to the department they are receiving care in.

For those patient who prefer the classic pen and paper option, our friendly staff have access to those as well! Please feel free to request a paper copy of the survey!

Our patient surveys provide crucial feedback supporting recognition of our team members and identifying quality improvement opportunities. The data is shared at many committees and working groups including our Patient & Family Advisory Committee where the feedback is analyzed and recommendations to improve are identified.
